Convention on Biological Diversity, CBD COP 10 (Nagoya, Japan)
The UN has declared 2010 theInternational Year of Biodiversity.
This should draw more attention to the Convention on Biological Diversity, which was created at the same time as the climate convention, at UNCED in Rio in 1992. Japan is the host of the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 10).
