100% good news on renewable energy politics
A new climate campaign hits the national agenda on Wednesday. 100% Renewable Energy is a relatively new organization and it will present the result of its monumental project to talk about renewable energy with well over 10,000 Australians.
Over the past several months, 100% Renewable Energy has created a national network of 14 organizers, who do genuine mobilisation, in communities.
Beyond Zero Emmissions shifted the debate in 2010 by showing that purely renewable energy is feasible technologically. 100% Renewable Energy shows that it is feasible politically.
The findings of this report will demonstrate that Australians love renewable energy, when they are engaged intelligently about it.
If the Federal Govenment wants to win the carbon price debate, it will need to tie the tax revenue to renewable energy funding.
