Pro bono work
We do pro bono work for clients internationally, because it is the right thing to do; an ethical business is a good business. Our pro bono consulting for public benefit organisations (such as charities and think tanks) gives us unique networks and insights.
Our paying clients profit because public benefit organisations are the driving force behind the sustainability revolution. Without insights into the big environmental and social issues, there is no way to build credibility and value.
greenups
In 2009 we helped create greenups, a regular green networking event in Sydney.
Climate Justice Fast!
In late 2009 we worked on Climate Justice Fast!, an international hunger strike calling for strong, just action on the climate crisis. One of the most powerful interventions at the Copenhagen climate conference, the protest inspired other solidarity fasters to join the cause and attracted worldwide media attention. The following people completed a water-only fast for 43 days: Anna Keenan (AUS), Sara Svensson (SWE), Paul Connor (AUS), Diane Wilson (USA), Michael Morphett (AUS), Chuck Cain (USA), Daniel Lau (AUS) and Matthieu Balle (FRA). Many more people completed shorter fasts, ranging from one day to three weeks, joining the call for climate justice and showing solidarity with the long term hunger strikers.
