Peace
Dan led a two-hour session on Peace and Environment for Postgraduate students at the University of Sydney. He gave a paper to a meeting of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs attended by Joseph Rotblat. In 1995, Rotblat and Pugwash were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts to diminish the part played by nuclear arms in international politics and, in the longer run, to eliminate such arms".
International Climate Law
The Punch stirred some controversial reactions when it ran an opinion piece about climate crimes and the campaign for an International Court of the Environment.
