Experience
Dan Cass has over 20 years' experience working in the environment movement, both in Australia and overseas, and has also worked across broader science and society issues.
He has a B.Sc. (Hons) in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Melbourne. As a student he worked for Australia’s first climate campaigning organisation, Greenhouse Action Australia.
Dan is a Director of Hepburn Community Wind Park Co-operative Ltd (incorporating Leonards Hill Wind Farm Ltd and Leonards Hill Wind Operations Ltd). The company operates 2x 2.05MW turbines at Leonards Hill, in Hepburn Shire, Central Victoria.
Dan is a member of the World Wind Energy Association, International Solar Energy Society, Australian PV Association.
From 2008-2011 Dan was a member of DAMP, a successful Australian contemporary art group. He has begun an international conversation about art and global warming, as a vehicle for cultural campaigning.
