Strategy

Social investment strategy

An philanthropist wishes to educate the Government and business sector so that they fully understand a major resource threat to Australia’s national security and take appropriate action. It is necessary to maximise the impact of this social investment, which is directed at the Board and C-level of businesses and at Government and Opposition parties.

We generated a flexible framework for efficiently developing the best campaign Strategy for Lobbying & networks.

Copenhagen campaign

A new grassroots climate activist campaign wanted to influence the debate around the Copenhagen conference. They had ideals, passion and a clear proposition but no money to pay for strategic advice.

We helped them to focus their strategy through our Pro bono work. We could then assist them to implement the strategy, by recruiting communications advisors and providing regular coaching to the advisors and the spokespeople.

Precautionary principle

Supporters of an emerging technology promise it will improve all areas of life in the 21st century. Environmentalists have heard these progress fantasies used in the past and decide to campaign for appropriate regulation of the technology on the basis of the precautionary principle (See Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, Principle 15).

We assist in the annual planning cycle of the campaign, advising on PR trends, opportunities and threats, as part of our Pro bono work.
